PLUS est dirigée par un comité de pilotage, composé de deux représentants de chacune des organisations fondatrices (l’UNEF, l’UNL et Solidarité Etudiante). Ce comité de pilotage adopte les orientations tant en matière de sujets abordés lors des interventions qu’en matière de développement de la structure en s’appuyant sur la connaissance qu’ont leurs organisations respectives des problématiques rencontrées par les lycéens et les étudiants. Il se réunit plusieurs fois par an.
Les objectifs de PLUS
- Favoriser l’intégration des étudiants à leur nouveau cadre d’études et de vie
- Favoriser la prise d’autonomie et la réussite de tous
- Créer de la solidarité entre étudiants et futurs étudiants
L’atteinte de ces objectifs repose sur le regroupement des informations utiles en une seule unité de temps et de lieu, des interventions dans les lycées, auprès des lycéens, et le renouvellement des méthodes d’intervention pour une meilleure appropriation de l’information (intervention par les pairs, participation active des lycéens…). Les interventions sont animées par des étudiants bénévoles, formés par l’association.

L’UNL est une organisation lycéenne de France avec 7.000 adhérents et présente dans près de 80 départements. Elle a pour but d’informer les lycéens quant à leurs droits, les soutenir et les conseiller en cas de problèmes vis-à-vis de l’administration, des conseils de discipline, etc…
